Information you give us. When you fill out a form on our site, we collect what you choose to share with us. The contact form collects your name, email address, and your message. The Plan Your Visit form collects your name, email address, phone number if you choose to give one, when you are planning to visit, whether you are bringing children and their ages, and how you would prefer that we follow up. Prayer requests include your name, your contact information, and whatever you choose to share with us.
Giving. Donations are handled by our giving provider. Card and bank details go directly to that provider. They are never stored on this website or by the church.
Information collected automatically. Like most websites, ours records basic technical information such as your browser, your device, and the pages you visit. We use this only to understand how the site is used and to keep it working.
To answer your message, question, or prayer request. To send you helpful information about visiting, including service times, parking, and what to expect. To follow up after you reach out, by email or by text, depending on which you chose. To keep giving records for tax receipts. To maintain and improve this website.
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information.
If you give us your phone number and check the box asking us to text you, we will send you information about your visit and occasional news from the church. Message frequency varies. Reply STOP at any time to stop receiving texts, or HELP for help. Message and data rates may apply. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Agreeing to receive texts is never a condition of attending, giving, or receiving anything from this church.
If you give us your email address, we may send you a short series of messages welcoming you and answering common questions, along with occasional news from the church. Every email includes a link to unsubscribe, and you can opt out at any time.
We share your information only with the providers who help us operate this church, and only as much as they need to do their work. That includes our website and giving platform, our text messaging provider, and our email provider. Our forms are protected by Google reCAPTCHA, which is subject to Google's Privacy Policy and Terms of Service. We may also disclose information where the law requires it.
This website is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children through it. Information you give us when you register a child for a ministry or for our Child Care Center is collected by the church directly and handled under our ministry and childcare policies. If you believe a child has given us information through this website, contact us and we will remove it.
We keep contact and visitor information for as long as it is useful for ministry. Giving records are kept as long as tax and accounting rules require.
You can ask us at any time to show you what information we have about you, correct anything that is wrong, take you off our email list or our text list or both, or delete your information apart from records we are required to keep. Email church@fbci.net or call (816) 252-3377.
